Nerf Recon with intergrated tactical light

I set out on this project a while back. I was aiming to intergrate the tactical light that comes with the Recon CS-6, into the actual gun. I used the fake covered up hole below the barrel on the front of the gun, and holed it out. The small space between the clip and front end of the gun was the perfect housing for the light.
The light tube fitted perfectly. Almost like it was supposed to....
You can see here that none of the wires were disturbed by the clip or any part of the gun.

The wires were set into the side of the gun and ran through gaps i made with a dremel. This is how i achieved a working gun with no moving parts disturbing or being disturbed by the wires from the battery to the light.

The above picture shows how the wires sit behind absolutely everything, including the bolt sled and trigger(not shown). You can see to the left of the picture where gaps have been made to accomodate the wires. There are also two 'locks' there which had already been removed before i started this project.

Bit blurry, but this one you can see pretty clearly the switch/battery combination(self explanatory). But now the battery pack/holder. The grey box that the batteries sit in wad taken directly from the tactical light. With a bit of dremel work it fitted perfectly in the grip space. The 'secret dart holder had to be removed, once again with a dremel. Finally the switch seat. I made a cut into each side of the gun, equal on both. And glued the switch into place. The two lugs with screw holes on each end of the switch held it in place.

The whole side of the gun.

Whole side with clip inserted.
The finished product!!

I was happy with the way this mod turned out. Although the light wasn't all that useful(which it never is), i thought it looked good and I was happy with the design.
